Rusty Nail

August 7th, 2007

This cocktail has been a hit since its creation in Scotland in the 1950s. You could drink it without ice at room temperature, in which case it will feel richer and more alcoholic.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 60ml (2 oz) blended Scotch whisky
  • 30ml (1 oz) Drambuie

EQUIPMENT:

  • Stirring spoon
  • Tumbler

MIXING METHOD:

Fill the glass with ice, add all of the ingredients, and stir. Garnish with a lemon rind in the glass and a cherry.
