Pink Gin
May 28th, 2008
Light and refreshing, the Pink Gin is to cocktails what Sauvignon Blanc is to wine. Place the gin in the freezer for 24 hours before making the cokctail to ensure that it is ice cold.
INGREDIENTS:
- 50ml (1 2/3 oz) Plymouth gin
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Mixing glass
- Strainer
- Chilled Martini glass
- Stirring spoon
MIXING METHOD:
Pour the bitters into the Martini glass and “turn” the glass to coat (condition) the inside. Put ice in the mixing glass and pour in the gin. Stir well. Strain into the Martini glass. Garnish with lemon zest.
