Pink Lady

August 24th, 2007

This cocktail is smooth, vibrant, and ideal for anyone who likes gin. The egg white gives a creamy and luscious feel to the mix that can mask its alcoholic content. The drink is a delicate, opaque pink colour.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 45ml (1 1/2 oz) Plymouth gin
  • Dash grenadine
  • White of one egg
  • 20ml (2/3 oz) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Dash sugar syrup

EQUIPMENT:

  • Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Chilled Martini glass

MIXING METHOD:

Fill the shaker with ice cubes and pour in all the ingredients. Shake vigorously and strain into the glass. Drop a Maraschino cherry into the glass to garnish.
