This is classic, pre-dinner cocktail with a charming pink colour. The citrus and juniper flavours of the gin reinforce the complex herbs and fruit of the Dubonnet vermouth in a neat combination of delightful flavours.
INGREDIENTS:
- 40ml (1 1/3 oz) gin
- 40ml (1 1/3 oz) Dubonnet vermouth
- Dash Angostura bitters
EQUIPMENT:
- Mixing glass
- Bar spoon
- Strainer
- Chilled Martini glass
MIXING METHOD:
Fill the mixing glass with ice and the vermouth, gin, and bitters. Stir well and strain into the Martini glass. Garnish with a thin twist of lemon peel.
