Expect sweetness from Cointreau and a vibrant kick from the lime juice. The delicate balance of these sensations makes this cocktail perfect for stimulating your appetite before dinner. For the best results use a good-quality brandy such as a VS or VSOP Cognac, or even an Armagnac.
INGREDIENTS:
- 20ml (2/3 oz) good quality brandy
- 20ml (2/3 oz) Cointreau
- 20ml (2/3 oz) white rum
- Splash of freshly squeezed lime juice
EQUIPMENT:
- Shaker
- Strainer
- Martini glass
MIXING METHOD:
Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Pour in all the ingredients and shake well. Strain into the Martini glass. Garnish with a zest of lemon hanging over the rim of the glas- utterly irresistible.
