This is a perfect aperitif- fresh with a touch of bitterness. Serve it well-chilled to enhance the aniseed and nutty flavours of the Pernod.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 20ml (2/3 oz) Plymouth gin
  • 20ml (2/3 oz) dry vermouth
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • Dash Pernod

EQUIPMENT:

  • Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Frosted Martini glass

MIXING METHOD:

Fill the shaker with ice and add all the ingredients. Shake well. Strain into the glass.
